Dance performance by Siljeholm/Christophersen, Ramallah, Palestine
Area Y is a contemporary fabel on geographical landscape, staged as a 3 hour picnic event. The audience is taken to the chosen location for Area Y, in busses. In Ramallah, Area Y was set in an olive growth, situated on the border of area A and area C, a consequence of Oslo agreement. The performance question political interventions in geographcal landscape, that seperates people and communities from each other. The performance takes place from the twilight hour into the ”night”.
