During 4 days sculptural interventions was carried out in different locations in Ålesund (Norway) and some of its surrounding islands. : At the local museum, in the city, across a 100 m. mountain hillside, and at the sea. The art work negotiate and contemplates different relationships and perspectives of now and the potential future navigating between nature, culture, artistic practice, landscape and the social. Each sculptural intervention influences the development of the next. The project too grew out of conversations between Siljeholm and the renewed Ålesund based landscape painter, Ørnulf Opdahl.
Nodes on stones and other social landscapes is curated by Siri Forberg (Høstscena) and Bendikte Holen (Jugendstilsenteret og KUBE). The project is created by Helle Siljeholm.
